Decks
Extend Your Living Space with a New Deck

Composite Decks
Composite decks are comprised of high-density polyethylene and wood particles, as well as binders and preservatives. They require less maintenance than wood decks.
PVC Decks
Often referred to as plastic decking, cellular polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the same lightweight material you find in synthetic fences. A protective shell, or “cap,” gives this material a wood look. PVC decks are also fairly maintenance free.
Wood Decks
Wood is still the most popular decking material and also the most affordable. Typically, a wood deck is made of pressure-treated softwood, such as hemlock, fir or pine, but redwood and cedar are also popular choices. If you decide to build a wood deck, once it is installed, we can stain, paint or seal it to your specifications. Long term, wood decks require the most maintenance.
Decking Materials:
Our staff will educate you on the longevity of different types of wood, such as cedar and redwood as opposed to pressure treated pine. We’ll also discuss composite or PVC decking options with you, which will allow you to enjoy the look of wood without the upkeep.
