Roofing Inspection for South Dakota home owners
Why Have Your Roof Certified?
Many cities and states have regulations requiring roof certification before a home can be sold. Even if it’s not a law, it’s a money-saving opportunity. Having a roof inspected and certified can reduce mortgage payments, insurance premiums, and sometimes even the purchase price of the home itself.
When your roof is certified LeakFREE®, you’ll know that the interior, exterior and perimeter have been thoroughly examined and meet NRCIA’s exacting standards, as have the attic and rooftop. The roof is warrantied to remain leak free throughout the certification period. Typical inspection companies don’t offer such guarantees.
What if My Roof Leaks Following LeakFREE® Certification?
It’s rare for a roof to leak following certification by Restoration RX. However, simply contact us and we’ll send a contractor out quickly to repair it (if it was due to normal wear and tear or something we missed in the inspection) or we will help you file an insurance claim for damage not covered by the certification.
Restoration RX offers 3 types of LeakFREE® Certification
Certification periods vary from 1-5 years, depending on your needs. All but the Standard Plan include an annual maintenance inspection.
- Standard LeakFREE® Roof Certification: Typically commands additional fees for service calls or repairs and maintenance, and is ideal for commercial property owners.
- Gold LeakFREE® Roof Certification: If your roof leaks during the certification period, a contractor will be dispatched to make the necessary repairs for a small service fee. Most minor repairs caused by normal wear and tear are covered.
- Platinum LeakFREE® Roof Certification: All service calls are included during the certification period. The amount that Restoration RX will pay for repairs on a leaky roof is substantially higher than that of the Gold plan.
